The Sierra Leonean Community of British Columbia (SLCBC) invites you to a Special Outdoor Edition of our Seventh Annual Canada-Sierra Leone Cultural Heritage Day festival on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at Bear Creek Park, 13750 88 Avenue in Surrey, starting at 1:00 PM.

About the event
This special event will feature various cultural dancers, storytelling, the talking drum, musical performances, games, delicious African food & many more. This is an excellent opportunity to spend an evening with the larger African community and a platform to grow our roots, share our heritage, and histories in all forms and create a sense of belonging. Moreover, admission is FREE.
Your presence will be greatly appreciated and will help to emphasize the important message of community building, African unity and multiculturalism.
